Activity: 0% Longevity: 52% | | PAYPAL...which button to press
Just joined paypal again but registration seems different from last time.
I have.joined and.added vcc and then it asked me to add bank.details so i did that with a halifax esaver account....THEN a screen comes up about direct debit instruction. I have the option to submit or finish later
Do i go with the.finish later with this.being a.savings account.
Im stuck on that page so will await a response.then click the.correct.one
Thank again

Click submit so that it will send the code to your bank account for you to be able to verify paypal.

you will only most likely get an email from paypal in a few days to say you cannot use that bank account because of the DD mandate, but it still seems to work for withdrawing fine, just not paying fees from your bank account, but you shouldnt pay fees this way anyway | The Following User Says Thank You to Bunneh For This Useful Post: | |

Thank again | Savings accounts don't work for verifying paypal because direct debits can't be attached to them, been a few posts about this recently

Never heard that before, I have a couple of savings with santander and direct debits cannot be attached to either of them nor do visa debit or credit cards come with either of them

You cannot add your bank issued debit and credit cards as they name and address have to match the paypal account, or it will not work.

Newbies do not need messages from paypal about bank accounts being removed and their accounts being checked.
Basic accounts & current are more ideal
That was always the method and avoid glitches. |

Activity: 0% Longevity: 52% | | SORRY...paypal yet again
Im so sorry but more problems. I have code to verify bank.account but everytime i go to.enter it, the page freezes on my mobile and scrolling on my mobile becomes disabled.almost.
Have reset phone but made no.difference.
I could log into another phone that has been used in the past...go onto mobile network and hit ip changer and do what i have to do and.log straight back out again.is that a huge risk
Im at a loss as to what to do.
Thanks everyone

Get an IP on a desktop, I noticed that the mobile site bugs for this on my end as well. Once I go to the page to put the code, it tells me to login, then stays there in an infinite loop.

GB etc.... ive done it. Managed to do the code. So will ignore direct debit email that im going to receive.
I really hope i didnt make a wrong move with halifax esaver. I dare not open any.more bank accoubts and the two proper accounts i have i was advised to avoid. So ive pretty much forced myself into using a savings account. I hope it do3snt backfire on me

I have an esaver on a 2008, 2011, 2013 account and have had no problems.
But i dont let paypal debit my bank account for the fee's so they wont be able to see my real name.
