UK Bank Account

I need to create a UK bank account but I live in Ireland
Is there any virtual bank or high street bank I could use?

try smile (id required) or any of the high st banks, takes a 10 minute visit and you get an account.

Can you really use "smile" to verify UK paypal?

Hi Oom, Is "smile" virtual bank account or it is actually the real bank account (but just online only) that you have to send them driving license, bills...such things...to be able to apply?

All banks in the UK need to be given real ID because of the Money Laundering Regulations.
