Suspended for selling under value?

This was a new one for me... good account with no issue and a few positive feedbacks. Suspended earlier for the dumbest reason. The item was selling at a fixed price and the price I was asking for was actually way above their "Recommended Price".... The rep told me whoever suspended my account has stated that I was selling it for under the value of the market price...it was a used item and the price was actually reasonable... can't appeal or anything..nada..

... I'm guessing if you are attempt to give away your stuff, they might actually suspend the account too.

A year ago my account god suspended for selling above value when I was selling them for half of the retail price. eBay very very strange sometimes.

Was it a branded item?

yes, branded item...but the market price for the same USED item is the same as what I was asking for...i guess they will suspend your account at anytime without any appeal whatsoever... guess its time to launch the next 10 accounts

Most probably some competitor reported you or it's ebay bot. Never know...

Probably you got reported and the sucker got away with it. Being a seller is one of the hardest things today having to worry about competitors trying to take you down. What a bunch of suckers.

By the way, i made an experiment. Sent like 20 reports about a guy from separate accs. No any reaction, of course.

does that even happen for new account as well? I mean you havent even started selling and suddenly ebay got reports abt you.. strange

LOL Muzzie...thats just too much

thecoolguy, i believe new accounts tend to get the same problem..thats why it's advised to avoid branded/high value items until you already have some decent feedbacks.

Did you try somebody with like less then 5 feedback? Because if you tried somebody with high feedback then probably that's why nothing happened. I'm sure high feedback accounts are harder to ban.
