I see 0 feedback people selling, but never sell, what gives?
I see people with a recently created account and 0 feedback and they list alot of items big items like phones and computers, but they end them the sameday. They show up in the completed listings, but they never sell the item.
What is the point of this? Making the account stronger or what?
Looks like a strategy move to make the account solid.

well if they create goods til' cancelled listings and leave them for several months they will get there someday and sell something, for example on 0 feedback account I got 8 sales within 1 week

I have noticed this too for people who are selling clearly branded phakes. Most of them don't have 0 feedback it is like 5 to 15 but definitely very little or no selling Feedback to speak of yet. Yet spamming eBay using multiple accounts with phakes.

If they are ending the listing, its not making the account stronger at all. It actually counts against the seller. I can't remember what metric it is, maybe a defect.
Re: I see 0 feedback people selling, but never sell, what gives?
About a month ago I was searching through sold listings and realized if you click an item it will tell you if it just ended or if it actually sold, and I have been on ebay for years, so I should have already known this. So if a new buyer comes around and doesn't know how to check whether the item actually sold, it will look like the seller has sold a few of what they want and they would buy. Only explanation i can think of

I would never buy high value item from brand new seller. Probably not buy cheap item from them either. Now on Amazon more likily do both but Amazon better protects end-user.
