Default How long before Eb*y considers it a "gap in selling"...?

When I sell at full steam ($1,500-$3000/week) I don't have any problems, but sometimes I take a little time off from an account, and when I come back there is the 21 day hold on again, because I had a "gap in selling" as it was explained to me by the customer service agent. Is there a day/week/month amount of time that generally is considered a "gap" or does it widely vary from seller to seller? (or a way to avoid this...?)

For the record, I'm getting this limit put back on after VERY short breaks in selling sometimes, that's why I am wondering- also, I have nearly all 5 star feedback in all categories, and zero neutral or negative feedbacks as well.

Varies from account to account, and all the variables within those.

Length of a piece of string comes to mind.

Strange.
I return to selling on accounts that take a break for 6 months at a time and have never had any issue.
Might have to do with the volume or the specific items you sell.

Consistence is a pretty important thing when it comes to your accounts and large fluctuations from what is considered "normal" for you can cause issues.. that's all that matters.. Stay constant (or increase sales slowly) and you won't have issues.

same here, several months not a issue.

I recently went back to 1 which had not sold for about 2 years and it had holds unsurprisingly.....

Noticed that it happens after 1-2 weeks of inactivity.
