Hide IP or Change IP?

Hi guys!

What do you recommend? To hide the IP or to change the IP for stealth...both through VPN.

They are the same thing really..

Hiding an IP just means your hiding your own IP by use of a VPN/VPS/Proxy ect

So long as you have a very good sold VPN then this will worth a treat

My ISP is providing a paid VPN to hide the IP and encrypt connection. The free version are changing the IP without encryption.

Is there any chance for PayPal or Ebay to see the IP if it´s hidden anyway?

If it is free chances are it wont be any good

They would not be able to see your IP address, but if its an abused VPN then they would know the IP range and just limit you for it

Alright! I´ll try with the paid one and see how it goes. I bet that using Ebay and stealth is not that common here in Sweden so it´s worth a try.

When you do get the VPN IP address its worth going to a IP checking website, just to see what data it pulls up for that IP address.

That will give you a good indication as to if its a reused / abused / widely share IP

There's a good chance either the paid or free "Hide IP" service puts you behind a proxy server that's shared with hundreds of other customers. If this is the case, then I wouldn't recommend it for obvious reasons.

No, inaccurate.

Many users pick Swedish VPNs for the very reason you think.
