I do pretty good selling certain things that are non-vero. It helps a bit with my vero listings lasting longer (at least it seems to help). Mix a bit of vero with plain items.

Preciate it.

I have 3 stealth accounts with 100 or so fb's --all 100%
and a 9 yr old account with 15fb --100%

I don't have an issue at all selling non-vero as long as it makes me money.

Now, finding the right product is what I'm growing real tired of. sigh

Yeah, that's the tricky part. Few and far between.

My understanding of OEM is like this.

I have ordered OEM processors from Newegg.com. That means a proc. without the retail box manual and heatsink/fan.

That's one example that fits the OEM designation, but it is correct.

I have had the ebay vero treatment with regards to not being able to resell branded legit goods, due to possible licencing/resell rights issues.

Lets look realistically , people want branded goods, it would be fine if you were not charged unless you sell, so that forces sellers to have to go with items they know will sell for sure, mainly branded goods.

If you try and sell an item 4 or 5 times before it goes, you can lose more than you make.

Its a market driven thing and ebay allows this, it would make way way less profit without vero sold there. Its a game they dont want to be seen to be condoning, when someone complains about it. Otherwise they wouldnt let thru more than a fraction of the vero being sold there, they do it randomly or stop a prolific sellers, purely for show - its obvious,

Ebay know you will try and have many accounts, but they have to show that there systems detect this, so its a game, they know they are being watched and could be asked to show their systems work. Its not in their interest to stop vero unless they were forced to, so they cover their backs with systems, that dont quite work well enough.

They have a ban on selling certain brand names too often per 30 days anyway unless youve been cleared by vero, so how could you ever sell that much anyway.

If these OEM goods arent allowed, youll soon find out!

If you are serious about these goods, you could either approach ebay or the brand owner directly and ask if they are allowed or try just a few and dont make big order and see what happens, you said you want to be out of the heat game, but be prepared for them to say no. Happend to me, had legit goods , major brand, I got them thru work at a discount, they didnt want me selling on ebay, but they wouldnt give me reason, they took the risk that it wouldnt go to court and stood their ground about my suspended account. I didnt go to court as it wasnt in my interests time and hassle-wise and was not 100% sure of the outcome, so I decided to start again.

After I was treated in such a two-faced way, as far as I was concerned, all bets were off and I sell anything that takes my fancy, if they let it through I sell it, if they dont I try it on another account or dont sell it again on ebay. If it is too hot to handle I wont risk my accounts for it. Some things ive had to try selling before deciding too hot, others are obvious...
