Paypal Chat Option, Contact Us
Paypal has added a new contact option....chat. After a lengthy wait time trying to contact them by phone (literally an hour trying to reach someone), I hung up. Called again this morning and the automated answering machine said there was a chat option online...so I went looking for it. Had 0 wait time and got my issue resolved. But I'm not sure exactly how "safe" it is to use their chat. It might be an attempt to peek at what's going on on your computer or browser. I do know that if you have multiple tabs or windows open that are on the Paypal website, the chat window will automatically load on each one. That's not a big deal, as there are other websites that do the same...but this new "feature" kind of has me on the fence as to what all they can truly see. Any thoughts? |
