Stealth acct address and name

Would there be merit to using Obituarys and finding real people with real address that you can google to confirm so if they look it up in a database....its comes back as real in more ways than one??

That's tantamount to identity theft - assuming the info of a real dead person.

Well they are dead and its not like making up a name and birthday dont come back as real somewhere.....its just going to hook up with a valid address....

I dont see the difference...theft of someones name is theft no?

To me identity theft is using their SS number and the like

If you accidently steal someones name you are still stealing it if you made it up.

No difference dont see it as identity theft at all.

Identity theft doesn't require you use someone's SSN, like that's some sort of a threshold below which there's no crime.

Seriously, why is this even a question?

I'd proceed with caution if I were you.
I really suggest just grabbing an address from the phone book and use a name you want to use.

Simpler
