Do the Pre 2007 accounts still work for not having to accept paypal ?
 

Hi - I have 3 pre - 2007 ebay accounts and before I went through a lot of trouble re-activating them I wanted to check and make sure that you could still get around having to use paypal with them and use your own merchant account - does anyone know if this is "for sure" still the case ??

For starters:
pre mid-Nov 2007 are the accounts to talk about. So if the account is made after that it does not qualify.:pout:
'For sure', paypal and ebay never co-exist. All you can expect is less problems. But depending on what category you are selling on, then you need paypal to be listed as a payment option.

I am well aware of that thread - I was asking if someone knew "FOR SURE" and had tried to activate one recently - as you may or may not know ebay's terms & conditions changed in June and I wasn't sure if those pre - nov 07 accounts were still exempt from the new electronic payment requirement where ebay needs to approve the merchant processor.
