Steps to Get Merchant Account with Ebay?

I've read the forum and purhcased the Stealth Book...

But I'm a bit confused with all the options and steps in properly setting a merchant account up.

Can you please help me with the steps?

I understand that any pre-11/07 ebay accounts doesn't require approval.

So for a new eBay Stealth acct, what are the steps to be able to accept a merchant account?

1. Sign up for Cartmanager
2. Sign up for a Merchant account like authorize.net or First Data
3. Get approval from ebay by faxing in merchant acct statement
4. ?

Am I missing anything else? What do you recommend as the best options in setting up a merchant account for Ebay?

No faxing for pre 11/07 accounts, from what I have heard.

Forum was quiet when you first posted

You may need to 'have' paypal if you list in certain categories, ie clothing, cell phones, high risk etc. Be aware of that.

Is there a minimum feedback requirement to use a merchant account for post 11/07 accounts? When you fax your merchant statements to ebay, how are you faxing them? Are you using some type of internet fax service or going to Kinkos or UPS to use their fax?

Also, when ebay calls you, what do they ask you. I just want to be prepared. Thanks
