Any one heard of the PEG card?

This is one of the most amusing prepaid cards I have found. They litteraly advertise that you can create a ebay sellers account and verified paypal account with this card. And when you go to purchase, it's method of payment is paypal. lol! check it out.

Yeah thats the whole pourpse of the card its intended for ebay and paypal use only! this is not your everyday prepaid card co. like simon or gift2go.

So is it safe to use?

I have been trying to purchase another Simon card all morning and at the very end I keep getting the message:

The Simon Giftcard site is currently unavailable.

We're sorry. An error occurred while processing that request. Please
select the return button below and try again.

I have had this happen before but after trying again it worked the second time I tried it.

I have tried about 10 times today.

The bad thing I see about Peg is you spend $20.00 and only get $5.00 on the card so it costs you $15.00 compared to Simons $2.00 charge.

the simon site usually is offline like you mentioned Sunday/Monday. Not the first time this has happened and sadly will not be the last. Because of its popularity it may be better to try to buy the card other days of the week.

when you first see the PEG card, it seems to be OK. BUT I do not think it should be used for our purposes. From the many reports from other users, we have established that 'cards' are being checked by ebay/paypal. This means the account will be checked more carefully and that may mean a suspension. Highly likely its use will cause an account to be lost.

Sounds like a trap to me...

I feel like any account made with these cards will have someone assigned to them by ebay to watch 24 hours a day.

Just to let you guys know, I know the guy who created this.

He supposedly offers a VCC, a bank account, and unlimited support with his crap but he gives you a VCC with no balance and tells you its like $20 to add money, the bank account is ⊗⊗⊗⊗, doesnt work or EVEN exist, and when I emailed him some questions he wrote me that he was on vacation and to leave him alone.
