Default Most Frustrating Thing about Creating Ebay Stealth Accts?

What would you say is the most frustrating part about making your fully verified, stealth ebay seller and paypal accounts nowadays, esp with all the changes going on?

I think this will be a good discussion!

I hate having to get a new phone number for every account. With TFF they only give you so many phone numbers for any given city and I think I am going to run out of numbers.

Acquiring *another* phone that I just know is going to ring some day. I can't stand a ringing phone and at the same time, I can't stand answering one. The whole thing about KNOWING that there will be ONE call that cannot be ignored, and watching the caller ID with the ringer set to on ... it just eats my last nerve.

Yea, getting another phone number probably is the worst part.

Certain calls must be answered. If those go to voicemail, problems arise.

The most annoying thing to me is that when I have an user account that do not use or check very often during the day, let's say only log in once every 2 or 3 days, then a different IP is assigned. Sometimes got lucky with a brand new IP, sometimes not. Especially when there is an important email waiting for you to reply, but have to play with those MAC, IP, MODEM things for 5 - 10 mins!

I agree, I hate having to keep a log of my IP addresses everytime I switch accounts. And I hate waiting everytime I turn my router/modem of and on to get a new IP address. I wish I could get an instant new IP address everytime.

i think I am going to get another laptop and use my iphone tethering for a new IP address so I can work on 2 accounts at once.

Definitely bank accounts. I run 10+ accounts at any given time and banks have all kinds of red flags against people having lots of accounts.

You can do so in seconds without rebooting anything. Change router mac, release dhcp via the router, then renew. Sometimes the modem has to be reset, but there aren't many modems that old still in service.

There are certain calls that you must answer. If the call goes to voicemail or anything besides your human voice, your account will be instantly limited. Since you can never tell which calls are the critical ones, you risk a limitation requiring the full monty to get reinstated.

That is why I hate the telephone factor so much. I own my phone. It should be up to me how I use it. I feel it is horrible that I am extorted by PP at the risk of my own damned money, if I fail to answer their silly calls.

Think for a moment how far off things will go if you do voicemail or the old not here. Paypal account gets limited quickly. You then have to go thro too much to get the account unlimited. Ask yourself which is going to be easier overall to deal with 'answering the phone' or 'mucking about getting unlimited?' ebay is a money making business, paypal is money... why fiddle

Vic, I have tried your method and it didn't work for me-it only works when I unplug the modem. My modem is only a year old. Am I missing something?
