Default deal on 99p auctions and high postage

just become a stockist of a huge range about 200 items, but most dont sell each time, each item needs to sell for about £8. wondering if I can say charge 99p to avoid insertion fees, then charge say £8.00 shipping, (for $ double it) Whats the most you can charge for shipping without getting smacked for something by ebay, considering that to actually ship these costs more like £1...

They determine if you are overcharging for shipping by comparing to the average amount charged by other eBayers from previous auctions.

They will cancel your auctions if the shipping cost is much higher than the average for what you are selling.

If your a powerseller you can probably get away with it, but I have personally had auctions removed for charging too much for shipping.
