SS Solution? Switching to LLC?

I've done some searching to try to get an answer to my question, but haven't come up with an exact solution

My issues is as follows:

My ebay account was suspended awhile back for stupid reasons. I have since set up a stealth account and have been working it quite successfully. I VERY slow worked it up to being very reputable. I got over 100 positive feedbacks on it over a 6 month period before ever listing any items that were over 25 dollars. Once I hit the 6 month mark I began listing more expensive items and everything seemed to be going fine. I recently sold a few items that totaled over $6000 dollars.
Bam limitations.
They requested credit card, SSN, Supplier, Credit check, Proof of residence, etc.

I can work around all of these no problem except for the SSN and Credit Check. I registered the account under a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name. I know I've read that it is suggested to make an account using a family members or friends information. However, I wasn't comfortable doing this and don't want to be responsible if something were to somehow go wrong using their information.

I have attempted to argue with them on the phone on many occasions about how I am uncomfortable giving out that information to them, but cannot get them to agree to let it go.
Is there absolutely no way around this?

I am assuming that is the case. So I've been thinking of new ways to create an ebay account where they will not require my SSN.
I have an LLC and was wondering if using the EIN to setup a Business account would work.

What information would I have to provide to Paypal besides the EIN? More importantly, when I start selling high priced items what information are they going to request from me that I will have to provide? An exact list of this would be extremely helpful

Thanks

Project,
'arguing' with paypal wastes your time & energy. Been there, done that, wear the T-shirt.;) You can consider discussing the issue with them. You can try to get alternatives to actually supplying the SSN. If you go the way of LLC, then this thread addresses your problem

I suggest you have a think about a discussion to see what you achieve. You have the LLC as a back-up plan. :ranger:

The problem with the current account is that I used a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name... so there is no SSN to correlate with it. I have pretty much assumed that account is gone and there is no way of saving it, so I am looking the way of the LLC route.

I will take a look at that thread as well, thanks.
