mess with mango card
 

I had a stealth account. I Withdrew to the mango account 270.00 Dollars. No Problem!! Then a couple days later My card started to get DECLINED. I called MANGO to see whats up, and they said " We need to see ID and check Social Security number " FOR BOTH MYSELF AND THE NAME ON THE PAYPAL. The Paypal is a **** Name and they said the paypal money was supose to go to the name on the paypal, which obviousy was not my name. So Now They said they are going to hold they money and send it back to paypal and say that the name does not match. Im screwed because now IM SURE paypal will limit my account and ask for all sorts of info. I have no had any problems with metibank........only netspend and mango have screwed me. This happen to anyone else.

ALWAYS use a variation of your real name on your Stealth account. There are countless advantages to doing so.

that could be a paypal problem, because i had never any problems with Amazon-Payments?!

I think this is a dead solution, my account got blocked and my PP deposits are being returned. Just got off the phone, the names dont match so they are not accepting the deposits, worked for a few weeks, but no more. So if you acct didnt get hit with this yet, they will, I wouldnt suggest using the card, this is my info.

So it was working but not anymore?

I wouldnt mess with them anymore, my deposits were returned to PP, use at ur own risk.

So I called them back .....I wanted to stall them before they sent the money back to paypal ( informing them Im not that person) and let me clear my money out to another account.....

So I said give me time to send the social numbers to the both names ( really just stalling )

They said I no longer need to provide that info , they are not allowing me to use there services.....

What about my money? There was more paypal money comming. They said that I can use the card NOW and get the money out and the account has been closed.

I got lucky so far cause we all know once money is bounce back paypal limits!!!!:lol:

Crazy I think someone needs to come up with something that will work. Like a transfer account. Transfer out of PayPal to an account then transfer out of that account to your own account.

My money never got there, they just bounced it back.

so far metabank is my bread and butter but I think Im at the limit you can have per household

I just checked the mango balance and another 70 hit the account? weird they said I was closed . I hope I can get the money out?

The money didnt come back to pp yet, will update if I get hit with a limit, I wont, its a high feedback acct and I dont sell any high risk items, so well see.

does anyone have any more info on this? i have a mango card myself and used it to verify a stealth pp acct with totally different names. the verification went through, but I have yet to use the acct other than that. should i just use a different card/checking acct?

dont transfer money into the acct if the names do not match, they will deny the transfer and bounce it back to pp, and it will take over a week.

I used it to verify too and it worked . I also withdrew to the card from paypal and after I called customer service about a problem with my pin 24 hours later was when they blocked my card. I can only guess that when I called they said hey look at this???? Different name???? maybe

This is great info guys! I just transferred some money to my new Mango card yesterday as well. I am holding my breath now. BBCOACH please keep us posted on what's happening with your Paypal account. I'd hate to see my account get limited for stupid things like this. Thanks guys!

Update: the money got deposited to my Mango card this morning. I used most of it right away. I thought since there's no money, they can't bounce anything back to Paypal now. I hope I am right on this. Very scarred. We'll see.

Saw your post...that was sweet hope it works for me two I'm waiting for Paypal to deposit the funds to my Mango. Hope I can get to Mango before they send my money back. How fast does Paypal deposits.???

so i take it from reading that these mango cards work as well for withdrawals from pp? another good read, some good information here, thanks to those that posted.
