2 year old ebay account question

I know with pre 11/07 accounts you can just add a merchant account without sending any documents....so is 11/07 the cutoff? or as long as you have a two year account, you can just add a merchant account? Thanks

any account before 11/07 is good without sending a merchants account statement in to eBay. I currently have been simply using an Auctiva checkout set up with Authorize.net and my merchants account stating in the auction no Paypal, only credit cards. There is no need to really have a 11/07 if you build up good feedback as buyers will pay with no problems.

I know any account before 11/07 is good without sending merchant account info...I wanted to know if that was the cutoff date, or is it as long as you have a 2 year old account you don't have to send in merchant account info. Thanks.

17 November 2007 was the date I got told when I first joined the forum. That is the date I have always gone by for accounts not required to use paypal. However the category of items determines the actual requirements.

Well i guess when kevin runs out of accounts we'll be out of luck then....Might be time to buy a few more of those accounts.

No just state you only take credit cards on your auction, dont stir anything up with other sellers and treat your buyers good and you wont get flagged. I have been doing this for months.
