Default Addresses

I need multiple addresses where I can receive mail and packages. I've run out of friends addresses that I can use to have mail delivered and go there and pick it up, and PO Boxes would cost an inordinate amount. This is not the typical ebay use, where you pick any address you want and don't really need to receive mail there, the point is that I need to receive mail and packages. Any suggestions for anything free or very inexpensive?

You can always get you a trap house.

OK I will be for real, Why would it have to be a address where you need to pick up packages? Are they returns, Items your buying?

If they are returns then when you send them the package you can also put in the package that if they would like to return the item then they would have to return the item to the address you provide.

If its items you was buying then you can just make you a EB buy account. They don't mess with you if you have a buy account that's not a seller account.

Hope this helps.

No it's not ebay related. That wouldn't work.

You can get a address at a local postal store. Other than that you aren't going to just find addresses to use for receiving mail. There may be some answers for you if you gave us a little more information. Are these packages coming strictly thru the postal service or strictly UPS/Fed Ex?

Why not go rent a address from a local mailing service? They can give a street address so you can get UPS packages.

As I said I need a lot of addresses, it'd probably cost the national average salary if I have to rent them all from places like that. For the sake of argument though, what's the cheapest I could rent one of these for?

I had one account at a UPS store and they were running a special, it cost me $30 for six months. I have another one at a "mom & pop" shop, and they charge $15 per month, or $75 per year. I took the year deal. I asked why, and they said that many people rent a box for a month or two only, so they charge more. They also said they like annual accounts as sometimes people renting for a month or two commit fraud.

And, with these services, you still have to fill out the US Post Office form and provide ID. They require one picture ID (like a driver's license or state ID card) and proof of current address, like a bank statement or utility bill.

Keep in mind these are NOT private! Your information can be accessed by anyone who fills out the proper form and pays a small fee. Process servers and law enforecement do not even have to pay the fee. So, if your intended use is not 100% above board, this is probably not going to work for you. Please understand I am just trying to be helpful, I am not passing judgment.
