Default P.O. Boxes good for orders from DHgate?

Seriously pondering whether it is a good idea to have several P.O. Boxes at USPS for orders coming in from DHgate. My current address may have been blacklisted. I'm fairly certain I've read comments regarding this but couldn't find by researching. I'm concerned more about the big boxes I receive. Would it not seem suspicious even if it is spread to several rentals at USPS stations? The price is unbeatable at just $40 for 6 months for small box compared to $90 every 3 months at UPS. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

The problem there is that only the USPS can deliver to Post Office Boxes. You won't be able to receive UPS, FedEx, or DHL.

I think the same is true for EMS.

Why not get a box through a mom and pop shop? You can get packages from all carriers. Keep that address seperate from you stealth accounts and just have all your DhGate orders shipped to that address.

Thanks for reply. Will look into more into Mom's & Pops. I called USPS and they stated that if shipped UPS, DHL, or FedEx overseas to USA, it can be delivered to P.O. Box address as carriers hand over packages to USPS mail services. Also, EMS is automatically picked up by USPS mail. Anyone else with any experience?

I prefer ups business mailbox since you can have it shipped under any name without having to show id and the extra $140 you can easily make back with your first shipment.

If it is shipped by DHL from overseas it can not be delivered to a PO Box. I recently had a package shipped by DHL and I thought the seller was shipping EMS so it came to my PO Box address. DHL called me once it got to the US and asked me for a street address so it could be delivered. I have never heard of anybody receiving a Fed-Ex or UPS package at the post office.

I bought something that I wanted for personal use - was sent via EMS. Received at p.o. box no problem but that was Canada anyhow.

Wouldn't the package have to be sent in the name of the business?

Also, you still need ID to open the account at the UPS store, right?

If you worked at microsoft and I wanted to send a package to jeffweico how are you supposed to get it if I just put microsoft?

And yeah I'm pretty sure every person out there needs an id to open a mailbox, we're talking about business here not a person.

if you select EMS as your shipper with DHGATE, after it clears customs it is transferred to USPS. in fact, the EMS tracking number works on the USPS website as if it were their own. and so yes, they deliver to PO boxes without a hitch. but why bother, because you need ID to open that PO box anyhow. I do it this way, not for stealth, but for a convenience issue.
