Default Again about " unpaid ebay fees"

Hey guys.
im recently having about 1400 au dollar ebay fees unpaid. There is about 700 dollar left in my pp account. But I just received a bank letter from bank, which require me to deposit 1400 dollar into my bank account. My question is if i just transfter another 700 dollar to my bank account. Through add funds in pp, then i can reach the total amount of unpaid ebay fees. Thanks

My guess is that ebay went to take 1400 out of your Paypal and was denied, so they went to your backup funding source which was you bank for the entire amount.

In my experience ebay will not drain your Payapl account and look for the remaining balance elsewhere...they will always try to get the entire balance from a single source.

I used to list a lot of stuff in ebay motors and $2000-$2500 fees were not uncommon. More than once ebay got stuck because the account was 100% stealth. That is harder to do now because of diffiiculty getting gift cards that they will accept as payment method, but I suspect it still can be done. I don't rack up those types of fees anymore so I haven't tried it in well over a year.
They have changed their fee structure on ebay motors so listing items that used to cost $125 and up can now be listed for 1/10th that amount. I usually just set the reserve very high so if it gets met the fees (and then some) are covered. I also do "user information requests" on bidders and contact them outside of ebay to complete the transactions
