AOL IP address generator question
I use the AOL desktop for several of my accounts and have not had an issue in 3 years doing so.
Lately though I've noticed that I can log on with computer A and get a number starting with 205.
Then log on with computer B and get the same number.
I can go to computer C and get an IP address starting with 64.
How is it possible that it assigns the same IP address to 2 different users on 2 different accounts using 2 different computers and then the third one is completely different?
Also, before logging into the ebay accounts I always check the IP address numbers through service like IP Burger and IP Chicken to make sure that I'm not logging into ebay with the same IP address as another account that is currently logged into ebay.
In most cases they don't indicate the same IP address. How can that be? Shouldn't it show up as the same no matter where you go? Why would the final 2 sections of digits be different for each of 3 verifying websites?
