Believe or not..I spent $2000 last nite and now i can 'generate' the code for ituens as well... it works but there is no such a thing called generator...

You know you don't even need to use itunes to get music. You can download the whole album using bitorent or limewire.

By the economy, do you mean the profits of Apple and the record companies? Then yes it probably is, but a few savings on music and films can then be spent on other stuff like food and mortgage repayments. I wouldnt worry about it

sorry for the confusion.
i mean the whole story is false. (typo) based on assumption.
there is no itunes code generator program as far as i know
no hacker involved and it's illegal.
The codes indeed works but you need to redeem it within 12 hours after you receive it.
1 out of 1000 itunes account redeemed using this kind of code would get suspended.
Once you got suspended, you can contact apple to lift your account suspension. however the balance will be 0.

Taobao does not allow seller to sell itunes gift card anymore however you can still deal it via IM privately.
I dont think there is anything Apple can do to stop it.
