Brilliant idea to send an empty package to someone chasing after bad MS itemsThe negs will come out of the woodworks. He'll not fall for that trick especially as it's blathered all over t'internet now

To the OP, if your items are not kosher, sacrifice some profit and send the real item. This is the lesson you need to learn, imo
STOP SELLING them at once. Dont worry about blocking the buyer. He'll come back as another buyer....MS have dozens of such buyers.STOP SELLING that product.:boink:

He doesn't send the empty package to TOLOTZIN
but to an legit PO box in the same zipcode. The Delivery Confirmation label is scanned before it is placed in the PO BOX.

Empty packages, whatever, they've seen all the tricks and know you're up to no good. Best advice is GB's just stop selling it! Microsoft are one of the worst companies to tick off as rights owners.

MS has a pretty good idea on what they sell their software to retailers for and how the retailers get them...

This is MS. I don't see sending them a real one will make them go away. It will raise more questions. And now your out the cost of the real deal. Your in their sites. That wont change.

Not sure how important the account is, but as I said earlier, I think you are dead in the water. I wouldn't waste any money sending them the real deal. I don't think in this case it will help. A pair of sunglasses or a hand bag, sure. Great idea. But MS software? I don't see them going away. All they are doing now is gathering proof and information. They really dont take too kindly to this kind of thing at all...I may be off, and granted that happens a lot, but I don't think sending them a real one will help here.

Is the account somewhat disposable? Try what you can thats not a ton of cash, take your licks and move on if you have to.

You got caught with your hand in the cookie jar...

Yea, Maybe, But it is still better to send the real article.

If you are really concerned about your account then make sure you send a genuine product...If you don't care about your account then move to the next account and move on...

As mentioned above this guy knows ALL the tricks...Don't waste your time listening to a bunch of bogus ways to overcome this...Send the real item or move to a new stealth account...

I agree to a point. But if we are talking about big $$ retail on a gamble, maybe not. I'm not sure what the costs involved here are. Pretty tough call. I would probably just cancel, refund, say it got damaged, say sorry. Hope for the best. And if need be, move on. Hell, damage the damn thing and send a picture.

rcdrivertim 08-13-2010 07:04 PM

IF he has NO MORE as stated above then send the real deal...They aren't going to leave negative or cause problems if it is real...They will not come back to buy something that is not there...

In my short time here, I don't see why some people (not accusing the thread starter) KNOWINGLY sell f#$e things...Then they complain and panic when caught...Don't knowingly sell it...Ends all problem..

Is it just me or am I out of line?

The company is MICROSOFT. They are on a sworn mission to stop their items being pirated.

Non-authorized sellers should have been aware. Tough titties if money gets lost. It's the big boys league. The OP might be a player who did not make the team. Another 100 posts will be a rehash.
END OF STORY.

No way!!! I'm about 2000000% with you.

In selling on ebay, there are many angles to consider. My previous post gave one side. It's business and business needs always to be done in a certain way.
Simples :peace:

I agree wholeheartedly on the whole bogus products deal. Not my game. I Cant imagine accounts of this type last long and I always pretty much assume the seller knows what they are getting into. I was just trying to help a brother out...

MadSam 08-13-2010 07:23 PM

Why not ask this guy tolotzin outright why he has such a reputation? Okay he may not be honest and he may not respond, but give him something like you need to make sure he's not an unauthorised reseller and you may be able to feel something out from his response. Would be interested to find out what he's really up to.

This is the SICKEST thread I Have EVER Seen, The ThreadStarter should be THANKFUL to Whoever or Whatever enabled him to discover this about his Buyer BEFORE He Shipped the Product.

There is a GOLDEN Opportunity to have a Reasonable Expecation of getting out of this situation Completely UnScathed, by Simply Sending the REAL article, Yet there is Debate,,,,I Do Not Understand.

Trying to find a way to Circumvent this particular situation without it Costing you any Money, is Quite frankly, Ignorant and Arrogant.

If you are engaged in the Business of selling Counterfeits, then You MUST Be prepared for Dealing with situations like this and MUCH WORSE (Like the FBI Knocking on your Door) it is ALL Part of the Game that YOU Chose to Play, Count your Blessings, the Next Time, (And There WILL Be a Next Time) When you Unknowingly ship the Item, You will Have a MUCH Greater Problem!!!

Blackhorse 08-13-2010 10:37 PM

And this situation is why i dont understand why people sell phakes. Im not totally innocent in not using the real deal - limewire is my best friend, but i would never sell them!

Well said. It comes with the territory. Being millions of ebay users you never know WHO you are selling to.
