So I bought an eBay account here on the forums, it is a 11/07 account and he pretty much told me that you should be fine selling as much as possible if the items are not "very hot" or "vero". So I here ask the community how much limit should I put on daily or weekly on my account so I can keep it secure as much as possible? These is the item I am selling:
While I don't encourage you to post what you are selling - even in subscribed forum - that being said, yu need to build your feedback to sell this triple-digit $ item. Don't go gung-ho from the start.

I wouldn't hold much in that statement at all. If it was active for the last 3 years sure, but unused is unused. Its just as fragile as any other account. Do not let the age of the account give you false confidence in its durability
Nice thing is you can add a merchant account and side step PayPal limits. But beyond that you still need to be careful!

pod is correct - as usual. Just having the account doesn't mean you can blow the normal regs and suggestions of this forum. Go slow, build feedback, build rep, and then aim for triple-digit+ sales.
The only benefit I've seen from a pre 11/07 account is the ability to use a merchant account to get around paypal... but... if you were ebay, would you get suspicious of someone who hadn't logged in for almost 3 years, and then out of the blue became bookseller of the year?
