EBAY Verification Call
 

Hi

This is first time that i have to get ebay call me back to verify my identity.
The ebay account is on a stealth details and bogus address.
I have all the inforamtion about the account, banks, card, telephone.
I do not have a problem for them to call me back since i can divert the call to a mobile

What i am nervous about, is what type of questions would they ask.
How long is the call?

Please anyone can give me some tips on this.

I just made this account last night.

Are they asking you to call or are they saying they are going to call you back with a button saying "call me now" or call me in 2 minutes" ?

I listed something last night, i list a clock.
They have asked me to schedule a call back from ebay.
I just need to know what should i have ready.

they asked me to call to verified my info . they asked questions that i never gave info to . i tried to answer them ,come to find out they where ⊗⊗⊗⊗ question ..

I c what your sayin now. I never had to schedule a call back however I did have to call them to verify identity a few days ago (on a stealth). I am assuming it should be along the same line of questioning, maybe someone with more experience will chime in here. I can only tell you what I went through

Don't be nervous - what u got to lose? nothing, its a new account anyway

They just asked verification questions
Name on the account
Phone number on the account
address on the account

Then i got 3 multiple choice questions (they say they pulled this from a national database lol)
1st one was about current area code (answered none of the above)
2nd one was about previous street addresses ( answered non of the above)
3rd was about previous zip codes (again answered none of the above)

That is all I got from them, it was like a 5 min call, The T&S monkey didn't have a clue. There are some great threads on the forum with all the info you will need, search around (I tried but kinda pressed for time right now)

There's already been a long thread on this. But anyway, it shouldn't be a problem, they ask you to make an appointment etc and just ask you a few questions. There is the off chance that they ask you to send in info e.g. a driving license but that's just the way it goes sometimes.
