Default How to NOT "sell too fast" on eBay?

Hi All,

My eBay account was suspended over a year ago. I opened up another one and they BS has already started..this time, nothing too big..but the normal headaches.

I have a verified Paypal and I want to veer FAR away from EVER having to send them my license, utility bill, etc. They usually do that when you "sell too much, too fast". I'm assuming if you are selling 7, per week, and then selling 250 items, it will signal eBay.

I sell name brand items...nothing too big..around $40 average...and I don't make a ton of money from them. My sales are usually 3-4/day..but during Christmas season..I easily average 40-50/day. Last year, this is when eBay/Paypal started freaking out and wanted all of my information.

I really do NOT want that to happen this year..is there a way around it...a way of tricking the system? I mean..how do they keep track of all of that and how can I make sure that no automated alerts go off on me?

Thanks

My strategy is sell nothing for the first month, $500 in month two and $1000 in month three. After that I just increase by $500 each month. Works for me anyways, eBay has yet to ask me for any information.

Are you guys referring to the "Selling Limits" message you get after trying to list an item? It's a headache, especially for big sellers like me. I've started selling on my main accounts and listing maybe 4-5 items on new accounts in between, slowly building them up.
