Default How to confirm your identity on eBay new account (photo attached

Guys

I set up the stealth acc a few days ago and matching paypal has been verified as well now
When I first set up eBay I used a Vcc thinking this is enough for eBay verification . However when I tried to list my first item today end of the listing it asks me to 'confirm identity' please see photo.
Having read through some of the posts about paying eBay fees, I dont want to link paypal to eBay (so that they will take eBay fees from there ) and I dont want to give them the bank account info either, hell no!

Anyone came across this ?

cheers!

Did your address match the vcc when you entered it on ebay?

i never used to have to do that, however on newer accounts its asked me every time to do that. it looks like you have to link the account now, unless im missing something too?

Is it not a different thing for paying your fees, as you can do that and put a card on file as a buyer, as some sellers will not trade with you unless you have it?

try take a look at the pay your fees section and see what that looks like.

What's wrong linking it to PayPal? You're forced to take PayPal payments anyways.

hi, no i didnt link it to paypal i didnt have a spare one, so that account couldnt sell. i know exactly what you are talking about, you used to be able to verify a seller account with just a cc then sell. it doesnt look like you can anymore but i could be wrong. looks like you have to link a paypal.

paying fees is a little different. you dont have to pay your fees with paypal, however it does look like you have to link your account to paypal to sell and to buy from some sellers. you can still pay your fees with a card but it doesnt really make much difference because paypal is linked anyway.
