so im afraid no more than 10 items per month is possible
ebay or ebay motors | I have not had a limit yet. Been listing on 8 seller accounts with well over 1000.00 each in sales and 12-15 items. :mod: not sure why I am having such good luck but I keep on making more accounts every week just in case. I list right after I create the account with 10-12 items with a 3 day duration. |
| bronwyn | 01-31-2011 07:01 PM | Is it safe to list 10 items right after you create an account? I thought that we should list slowly. I have newly created stealth accounts and I'm confused whether to start listing already. But I would love to do what you are doing. Quote:

| bmwsouthside | 02-01-2011 12:41 PM | things have changed. when they first introduced the 10 item rule they were gradually increasing limits as you received POSITIVE FEEDBACK. This DOES NOT apply anymore. Its very difficult to get feedback from buyers these days anyway. Ebay employees tell buyers that feedback is OPTIONAL but yet we CANT get paid without Potive FEEDBACK INMOST CASES. EBAY SUCKS.
Create more accounts and if you stay away from vero (name brand) you can prosper.
if you list name brand items you will still be looked at closer and limited at some point soon because you are more high risk in their eyes.
im creating new accounts at all times. More importantly selling on other venues and away from ebay. I love cash instead of paypal. Your local consignment stores are doing well because of the economy. try them. screw paypal and ebay. also try flea markets. it works. Quote:

ill share my 5 cents with you guys
you may list up to 16 items per month by using tabs in your browser and send 10 requests at a time

They figure you cant do too much damage with just 10 items anyway Im guessing. |
| bmwsouthside | 02-01-2011 12:47 PM | yes it helps if you buy something. build feedback anyway you can...but sell your first item so you can get the ball rolling and look like a seller. Quote:

does it help if we were to purchase items?
i think we need a free fb thread or something..
| bork_bork | 02-01-2011 08:10 PM | What is required to lift this in the verifcation part? Also does this go away after a few solid months with good feedback, or will you have to request it? |

you really are invisible to them..lol |
| incniu | 02-03-2011 10:22 PM | my account is more about 100 days old; still have 100 or $5000 limit.
When the hell will Ebay remove the limit??
The ebay site says account limit will be removed after 90 day; i have 100% feedback. |

I thought after 90 days the limit gets lifted? I don't want to wait 90 days and not get the limit lifted. Is there a different process or am I missing something? |

But I would love to do what you are doing. | I always list 10 or more items after I create the seller account. I use a 3 day duration and sell $500.00 right away after or before the 3 days. I then buy a couple of things I need to gain feedback, but even with accounts that have zero still after selling more then 10 items, and more then $500.00 in sales I can keep on going with no limits being counted to the account and its shown in myebay that nothing has counted to my account/accounts.
I am using 10 this month, so I have about $5000.00 in sales. Then this week 10 more so I can get another $5000.00 next month and now I will have the ability to rotate these accounts. 5 will have reached the monthly limit of money I can withdraw but the others are fresh for the month and when these new ones get done the old ones are ready to go again.
I am using 2 other accounts that I am building up for spring/summer sales using 2 merchant accounts also, not even taking Papal and those are fine. It must be ebay motors is not limited to this restriction. |
| Paypal_Victim | 02-04-2011 06:54 AM | what if the items doesnt sell..mine didnt sell and they wont let me relist. And after the 90 days, do they automatically lift or do u still have to send a request? |
| lucrative | 02-04-2011 08:16 AM | Any uk sellers still having this issue on accounts created in january?
No issues at my end. |
| consigcody | 02-04-2011 09:48 AM | it could also be how you have your paypal verifed i have 100 selling limit with no feedback or 5k limit and i belive thats becuase i have a bank account linked to my account if you only have a cc or vcc it is lower in the us anyway :ranger: |

My 10 item/$500.00 limit will increase to a 5k limit!??? |

I have one account that was selling sewing items and I got increased from 10 to at least 500, possibly more, after 90 days. |

So would that verified paypal do the trick to raise the 10 limit/500 per month limit? |
| jbluntz | 02-04-2011 04:45 PM | I don't think so, I've got a couple verified paypals with limits and 1 non-verified with no limits. |

| trigun989 | 02-04-2011 07:21 PM | arghhhh i can only sell 3 video games per month. |
| youniverseonline | 02-05-2011 05:55 PM | On a couple of my ebay accounts it says,
You can sell up to 100 items or up to $5,000.00 per month, whichever comes first, but when i list 10 to 11 items and sale them it says my limit is up for the month,Should i contact ebay over this or just keep quiet on the subject,
Thanks |
