Ok I got hit by this the other day on my stealth account, they told me that they have restricted my account from buying or selling, but I still have sales coming in?

They have linked me to my real ebay acccount that got suspended, I owe them quite a bit of money in fees and also Paypal. I had debt collector letters about the Ebay fees but I sorted that out(without paying), no word about PP debt yet.

I'm wondering if Ebay are up to something by still letting me sell, I can even withdraw my money from Paypal. The thing is that this account is in debt as I was dropshipping, I will end up owing them quite alot of money.

Also as soon as I got this restriction, I changed my Ebay and PP address to my old real address, thinking that I have already had letters at that address and a few more won't matter, because the business address I registered with is a family address and we have some tennants in there, and I don't want them getting a load of EBay letters.

Im tempted to clean out my Paypal account, but it feels very wrong.

Does anyone know why Ebay would let me to continue receiving money despite being linked to an old account?. I really think they are doing in deliberately for some reason.

if you think they have linked you then they may be waiting for more money
to enter the account, and then they could hit you when you try and withdraw and assign your money to the linked fees.

what do you think linked you to the other account? does the mc197 actually state they link you to another account? If so, I would expect trouble

Running away from fees often ruins subsequent accounts...

I think they limited me because the first address I used was my neighbours(foolishly),and then I had a couple of cases opened against me and they probably got out the magnifying glass and found out.

Yes they said they linked me to another account, what kind of trouble?

trouble? just that they can assign the money youve earned on one paypal to pay fees on another paypal - if there is enough of a link

An update to this. I got an email the other day saying MC027

Your account has been put on hold because the GBP x,xxx.xx balance on your eBay account hasn't been paid.

I'm slightly worried about this, the reason is that I initially registered my Ebay account using my neighbours address(stupid), I then upgraded to a business address and used a family property as a business address. Then when I got linked to my old ebay account, I quickly changed the address to some random address I have no connection with.

Problems is that when I used my neighbours address, I supplied them with an 'edited' utility bill.

I am quite worried what the legal implications of this are, I'm also worried that they mgiht send correspondence to my neighbour, even though I changed address.

I'm into PP/Ebay for a couple of k, does anyone have an idea of what they might do?
