Activity: 0% Longevity: 81% | | Dollar General - $8 TracFones with Double Minutes for Life + Accessories
Went to Dollar General today for some miscellaneous cat supplies. You know, brownies, rice krispies treats, butterfinger bars, reeses pieces... The essentials...
Anyway, they have a sale on TracFones. $8 each includes Double Minutes for Life, a headset and a phone case. Comes with 60 days of service and 20 minutes WITHOUT purchasing any additional airtime.
Limit is 2 per customer. Not sure how long it lasts.

RSOT,
I'd be happy to hook you up, but wouldn't the customs duty be like $797.49 per phone in Canada???
My Canadian customers always ask that I mark $10 or less on the customs forms because the taxes can be high.

rsot, we dont have the trac phones. But any phone that uses sims can be just as cheap. A fido prepaid sim is $10. I pop them in and out of phones all the time. Once you have a few phones the numbers are pretty unlimited....

If someone wants to trade 6 months of members forum subscription, i'll tell you how you can make that 1 trac phone, (2 extra +1 it comes with) 3 numbers for that $8 price you paid. No additional costs

bizzy we help each other here! I get those same Tracphone for $10 from Walmart unlimited.
you activate the Tracphone that cost $8 - $10 and then you have 1 number. You then can go to Google Voice and use this number to Reg. for 2 more numbers, giving you 3 numbers total to use for $8 - $10
I reported this months ago. Enjoy everyone for free

I didn't think Google Voice would work for verification. I tried calling a friend who had it, and the first time you call, you have to announce your name before it puts the call through. So automated calls don't make it.
What am I missing here?

You can expect this post to be moved to the members forum now, since it has the google voice trick listed publicly.
Go into settings and turn off call screening.
Automatically the calls ring your phone, verified an ebay yesterday this way

yes it can be turned off. It works no problem. I posted this about tracphones and any prepaid phone with Google voice like 6 months ago.
when you click call me now: for the pin verification code, it will say to accept press 1. then enter the code.

google voice does work, you just have to pick it up the first millisecond it rings and hit 1 immediately, I do it all successfully on a touch screen phone, so there is a little leeway but not much. Also, the best way to go about it is using google voice throw away accounts. Because you can't delete just a google voice account, only your entire gmail account, is why I say throw-away. Being the idiot I am, I don't know why I feel like I have to have my google voice attached to my stealth email. From now on, I am going to make a random gmail, add google voice, as soon as amazon verifies my phone number, delete the google account that is attached to it, therefore freeing up the number (I would assume). I will be testing it this week, and I'll confirm. That way for $8 for trac phone and 20 free minutes, you get 20 phone numbers for $8. cant really beat that lol

Pretty sure deleting everything does nothing, i also 2 put google voices per cell phone of my own, i have 2 cell phones that are personally mine. And i add 2 numbers to each. if 1 goes down, i just take a trac phone thats about to run out of days... and add my number to it, so i can delete my regular number off the account.
Just from what i have been reading. There is really noway beyond emailing google themselves to remove a number off your phone. Once you get 2 of them on there.
My experiences are all regarding ebay/pp not amazing. Can't and never have seen my products on amazon.
It might be worth it, if you can run 3 #'s off 1 trac phone to start buying minutes instead of rebuying phones everytime.I think you can get $10 worth of minutes online right?

When I tried to add a number to a third account it told me that a phone number couldn't be linked to more than 2 accounts. So I assumed that if you deleted an account it would work. I'm going to be trying this out tomorrow or the next day so I'll have a definite answer. Hoping I found the Holy Grail of phone verification lol
