 Alert - EBAY Spyware? MC081 CIT
SPYWARE ALERT?!?
I have suffered massively recently with MC081 CIT, about 50 stealth accounts.
On my windows XP computer I take the following precautions.
Brand new user for each stealth account (all brand new personal info), SMAC changer, New IP, no flash programs.
Last night I lost about 25 accounts on MC081 CIT, some selling and even some bidding accounts that had not yet made a single bid.
Having had a big problem with Flash "suoercookies" two years ago I deleted flash from all my computers then and have never reinstalled it.
I have found Adobe flash and Macromedia flash player files in the various user accounts in the hidden file "application data". After deleting these files, I find they are re-inserted by ebay immediately you sign into ebay again in about 50% of cases!
To check your computer do the following:-
Enable "Show hidden files". My computer>Tools>Folder Options>View> Check Show hidden files and folders.
To remove:-
My computer>Disc C>Documents and Settings> Click on the user> Application Data> Adobe and macromedia. In those files you may find flash player. I am deleting them all.
Am I onto anything here? All help gratefully received as this is killing my business.
