How To Choose A Good Merchant Account?

I'm looking for a cheap and reliable merchant account but don't know anything about this stuff. I have a few question to ask.

- Can I accept CC with stealth account?
- If the stealth account gone, can I use the same merchant account for different stealth account?
- ebay provide three gateway (PayFlow, Authorize.net and CyberSource), who are they and which one is better?
- Is merchant account really better than PP? my sale from $60 to $90

I never have merchant account before and have may questions but just remember these for now. Please share your experience.

I don't recommend it, most people think "wow paypal sucks im going to open a merchant account and never have to deal with them".... Until they realize most of these merchants sites suck even more, they will ban you even quicker, charge you a sign up fee, charge you monthly fees, charge you higher fees per payment, etc... The best alternative to paypal is another paypal account :D


Now this does not mean that a merchant account is not a good idea for anyone but most the time your better off with paypal

123 says it well. Yes the higher fees and time to withdraw can be problematic. As for your questions, yes if you work well with a merchant account, it accepts CCs and can be used for other accounts with simple changes.

Nothing to worry about just spread it between a couple accounts and its 20k and 200 not or.
