Default Ebay has finally stepped their greed level up to the max!

So I just got an e-mail today from ebay talking about the new changes starting April 19th. I'm sure you'll all see it. I guess ebay is gonna be including shipping costs in the Final Value Fees!!! Are you freakin kidding me?! The Final Value Fees aren't high enough ALREADY?!!! **** YOU EBAY!
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

They're doing it because of sellers are constantly abusing the shipping fees by hiding additional price of the item there.

It used to be easy to see the shipping cost of an item before ebay changed the whole format of their site. All ebay ever does is change for the worst. Constantly fixing shyt that doesn't need to be.

lets say you sell something for $10 and the actual shipping is $40 that you charge the buyer, you will actually be close to losing money for selling it on ebay. I am seriously asking myself why the hell am I still selling on ebay. I guess I must be completely insane.

I sometimes do the same when I am selling hard drives. I would hide some of the cost in the shipping but I cant do that anymore. Also look at the max they will charge you for Auction Style listings, the old max was $55, its not $100 even. They almost doubled it.

And they said they wanted to promoted low shipping rates, bull ****.

MAYBE I could understand them forcing sellers to charge the ACTUAL shipping cost. Maybe force the shipping calculator on every listing. But how can they collect fees on shipping which was purchased through the USPS etc? Last time I checked, ebay isn't the ****ing postal service!

Here are the details.

http://announcements.ebay.com/2011/0...seller-update/

Doesn't ebay realize that this is going to back fire on them and the buyers? Instead of offering free or low shipping fees, now I have to increase my shipping fee to actually make money. How dumb, how stupid is this? What do you want from my shipping and handling fees? Ebay doesn't provide free transportation to the Post Office, ebay doesnt purchase my shipping materials for me. WTF is going on with this piece of s*** company?

It kind of looks like they are lowering the final value fees % to offset including shipping fees in the total. I'm not standing up for eb ay, just want everyone on here feel a little better about this...I'm sure it is intended for eb ay to make more money either way.

Of course, pp has been including everything dime we get in their fees...I Hate the evil monsters!!

UK - I got the email today... there is a message on their site about it with the prices and changes etc. - bummer

You know... they made a rule not so long ago in uk that in certain categories there was a max you could charge for postage.... that kind of sorted the high postage problem for them (not for me as I have big heavy vogue mags costing 4 quid to post and max I can charge is 2.75 - some hairbrained idea eb staff), so I personally feel eb is pulling a fast one (another hairbrained idea) and trying to recuperate (thanks spellchecker) the money they have lost due to loss of sellers due to their many rules - a lot of big seller have been banned and they bought big money in......

In my simple brain it makes no sense and it sounds illegal in what they are doing - ie. charging fees on postage!

Its all crazy out there... just gotta keep playing the game I suppose and keep some cash saved for a rainy day

Place a cap on certain categories, but do not f up my sales because some idiot is charging too much on shipping. Warn them or something, but this is ridiculous. There's a reason why it is called shipping and handling. God!!!

ehh I was just browsing some cameras today and came across this listing. These are the type of sellers that make it really hard for the honest sellers. Check out his shipping cost. What a douche!
