Check why this happened? Item quality poor or buyer stupid? Fine line but enough to damage a seller's account.
But 1st of all, communicate with buyer that you want to work to resolution.
Buyers can & do persuade paypal to allow claims to be filed outside of supposed time frames. Cover yourself there.
I dont recommend 'ignoring'. I'm sure you know the story of Peter & The Wolf? That buyer you choose to ignore is the danger.
Think of that, then a plan should evolve.
