So I called eBay to ask to lift my monthly selling limit

The rep asked how old my seller account was. I said 1 week. Then he said that I'd have to wait 90 days before requesting a limit increase. Then I asked if they could at least increase a quantity of items I can sell leaving the dollar value limit as it was. He then asked what I'm selling and if I already sold anything on eBay. I sell in a high-risk category and my account had 0 feedback. Once I told him that, he said he can't lift any of my selling limits.

How do some people call in and have their limits raised? Do you call when you already have some feedback? How old was your account when you called?

Yea, there is this new thing where you wait 90 days to lift your account limits. It's been there for a few months on ebay. If you really want to lift your limits I suggest you just spread throughout multiple accounts. I have tried lifting limits myself, but that only triggers suspensions and idiot ebay policies restricting accounts. My only option is to spread accounts and hope for the best.
