Paypal transaction review question
Recently I had a buyer with a verified business account make a purchase from me for around 22$, today I was notified that his bank reversed the payment and the transaction is under review.
I think I messed up because right after he made the payment he sent me an ebay message asking me to send it to his home instead of his business address (the locations are within 3 miles so I thought it was legit). So I sent it to the other address which I understand basically means I am going to lose the money no matter what.
My question, how can I get this case closed as fast as possible. I'd rather just move on and not have this extra attention brought to one of my all star account with no selling limits. Another concern is that I sold some vero items a couple months ago (no disputes, refunds, returns, etc... but there's a paper trail obviously).... am I at risk of being limited over this?
Not sure what to do, the email says they want tracking information which has already been entered when I marked it as shipped, but when I go to the case details there's no place to enter tracking info but I can add files, faxes, or "notes". I was thinking of quoting his eBay message with his alternate address and just trying to accept fault, or would this be shooting myself in the foot?
I have always accommodated these buyer requests when the items are cheap thinking that most people aren't going to bother scamming sellers out of generic low value items and haven't had any problems in the past. Live and learn I guess |
