Default Question about giving ebay my info

So if I have made a new ID to send to ebay. Will they look up the drivers number?

In general, they don't unless you really mess up I would say - don't be lazy.

are you required to provide them with the DL number?
can't you just blank it out and provide them with DL confirming name and address only?

Yep, they 'like' the numbers. That's what a DL is, piece of paper with numbers .

^^^ Don't know what that means...

They are not going to look the DL number up for a background check.

PP does not stand for Police Patrol :D

They may log such unique information (DL Number) with the PP account is has been used with. Though that is only speculating.

Blanking out numbers will only delay the process. Don't

well OP has a point, they may not be able to look up the numbers , as they are not an authority, however if they look weird then it would be an issue. I mean they have enough experience and examples to compare them to with other submissions.

you are allowed to blank numbers, they only want your name and address, I was told this by them.

I mean this bogus made up/non-existant person has a right to privacy too - no? Just because they dont exist does mean that their privacy should be invaded, right? I mean if you were a combination of a retarded looking facebook picture, a name that was made up of a neighbours cat and some surname from TV and you lived in some place that isnt real, wouldnt you be kinda offended if they had your non-existant dl numbr?
