Feedback is not that important, for isntance just going and buying loads of cheap things would not gain you any credibility with ebay or the consumer with regards selling.
You need to start selling SLOWLY, if at all in the first 30 days. Ideally I would say wait 30 days before starting to list on the account, but if you must list cheaper items.
Start listing slowly after that period making sure you offer top customer service gaining good feedback and slowly increase sales from there.
Try and stay away from VERO items too especially at first. I usually start a new selling ebay account by listing products such as phone cases and accessories to gain feedback.
Before I got suspended for the first time, about a year ago, I opened up a real ebay account and bought over 1000 1p items in around 3 weeks. It was just a buyers account, once I got to the 1000+ feedback score, I opened up my sellers account. :D

she would dump me every week for nothng really and I spoke to a wise old man and he told me she was dumping me for 2 reasons
(1) she didnt want me
(2) she wanted me to come back on my hands and knees
he told me to do number 3 and I asked whats that then and he said
take her mate out and give her one and tell yer misses lol
