Default MC019 Ebay listing removed

It's been over 2 years since I received one of these. I usually use ebay stock photos, but for the particular item I was selling, no stock photo was available. I went ahead and took pictures of the item, just like 100's of other sellers that sell the same thing. An hour after I posted I get hit with an MC019, and here was the reasoning - Photos are unclear or otherwise fail to represent the item - WTF! I had already sold 4 of them, and all of sudden today I get the warning. When you guys receive the MC019, I believe ebay also sends an email out to previous buyers as well. Any of you receive complaints from buyers, requesting a refund because of the email? I'm not sure, what type of email was sent to the buyers, but the email I received said nothing about the item being prohibited. It only stated that the 'photos are unclear and fail to represent the item.' This account by the way is a top rated sellers account with over 600+ positives and no negatives with 4.9-5.0 dsr ratings. Crazy HUH! This really sucks, because the pictures that I took, actually came out pretty good lol! Let me know what you guys think.

They were iPhone 8gb 3gs, not the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ **** from china either. The ones you can get for $49 right now for new AT&T accounts. As far as my secret on how I get them, I'll keep that to myself lol.

Hmm you could have been reported by competitors, or Apple folx themselves. Eb ay employee took a look at your listings and used the photo excuse to take you down. iPh ones are always high risk - legit or not.

$hit for $49 if legit AT&T or not, I'd buy - looking for phone upgrade =)

Ya not sure why they were takin down. They are actually $49 in the US if you open up a new account with AT&T. They are selling on eBay for $200-$300 depending if it's already unlocked and with the new software. Oh well, maybe I'll just have to move them on craigslist.

More than anything, I'm just surprised they would mess with an account that's over 3 years old and that is top rated with no negatives. While I see lots of accounts with under 20 feedback that have no problems selling them.

eB ay can be very crazy like that - especially for these kind of items. Don't care about length of account so much - I would speak to live chat to begin clearing things up - maybe call directly.

I stay away from contacting them. Don't feel like opening up a can of worms if you know what I mean.

Better yet, I'll let you know if I can sell them on another stealth account. Then I'll send you a link. Will give you best bin price.

Ive had 3 of these lately! That the picture was unclear. For each I spoke to a rep on the online chat and had it cleared. I explained my awesome seller ratings and had them look at each auction. For each case they removed the MCO19 and "sent the buyer an email to clear things up" and they were all V ero!

SOMETIMES if you call ebay up they could actually help.. if the pics are actually good..
Then ebay does ,which i think is completely idiotic, they send PREVIOUS buyers.. no matter how long ago it was (BIN items). They send THEM an email to basically open up a case against you and get a refund even the transaction went smoothly happnd to my real account which got suspended.. very stupid..]
