Smile Is it OK for me to contact buyer in EB?

Hi

If anyone can offer any advice I would really appreciate it - Thanks in advance

Just before i was banned from selling on eb, i had 2 buyers who asked me to hold back a number of items for her (i think she was supplying her friends).
I ordered this item for her and am now stuck with them for quite some time (until the heat wears off).

My question is can I safely email them in eb directing them to their normal email account to offer them the items?
I have already sent messages outside eb, but doubt they has received it.

I would offer her the option of paying with pp for their protection, I would just slightly disguise the invoice.

What is your experience with eb buyers, are they only confident buying through that site or is it worth the risk of being told off further by eb - (i imagine they may completely suspend my eb account or even pp).

ps: it's not vero.

Thanks Again

Explain the buyer what happened. Either she will go along with it or no.

Good luck!

Some buyers will go with it, i have had this happen and all i did was continue talking to the buyer outside ebay and assure them that the item will arrived.

Just as " FandangoKango" stated, it all comes down to the comfort and trust level the buyer have in you.

Also make sure you ship the item with a tracking number possible signature confirmation, just to be on the safe side as well...

Good Luck......and update us on how it goes

So you want to sign in to a banned account to complete a transaction? Am I understanding correctly?

E-mail directly from your e-mail if you can - some messages from buyers will have their e-mail down.

Hi

yes - the acc is now only active for buying, plus ive had to go back in as some of the last purchases i made in this account have not turned up, so i have had to open some cases.
I used a new user acc, and a dongle so... I should be ok should'nt I?

thanks to you all

You could sign into your PayPal and check her transaction for her email address. She may or may not use that email account though. Worth a shot though still.

I may have missed something bunny but can you or can't you try this?

yes shady i could do this (i have sent one msg to each), but the buyers sometimes rarely view their eb registered email, maybe if I sent a eb msg along the line of "Regarding your request, I have sent you an email to your ... email address".

I don't know - probably have to kiss those sales goodbye also
