Default Is there an alternative to using a bank account on Pa-ypal UK? prepaid cards?

Will prepaid cards work instead of adding a bank account and will the prepaid cards get verified and confirmed????

Or is a bank account 100% needed?

thanks for the reply.....

so how can 1 person have so many bank accounts - wont it affect your future credit history/rating if you have multiple accounts in every branch.... they must raise red flags if you have about 10 bank accounts in your name - right?

and also that would mean you cant make too many stealth accounts - only as many the amount of bank accounts available to you.... :(

its an issue yes, you have to be careful and balance the number you open over periods of time. But you could always resort to the type of accounts that charge you $... p/m like smile bank.

Ive ran several credit checks since going 'stealth' - I have opened many basic current accounts and it doesnt seem to have had much of an effect on my credit rating.

They key is to make sure your getting the most basic current accounts just so they accept the DD from paypal and dont use any overdraft etc.

Also was the bank account is rendered useless through suspension of the paypal account make sure to close accounts your not using.

smile.co.uk - the internet bank

thinkbanking Bank Accounts > The Current Account for Everyone

https://www.cardonebanking.com/info/yourquestions.aspx

Evolution Banking - the current account open to everyone

Secure Trust Bank - Welcome To Our Account

Instant Banking Current Account | No Credit Check | No Overdraft Fees

Current accounts | The Co-operative Bank | Bank accounts

If you/anyone knows of anymore please add them.......

you got it - but thats just my experience.

You could even do the same yourself and run some credit checks as your opening them to see if it affects your credit at all but for basic accounts i doubt it.

Take a look at a thread I opened recently. Might be other sites for a credit score but I started with that one.

Pretty sure some of them wont work unless you know what your doing, better sticking to one's that accept Direct debits.

Just wondering, but if i was to lets say...
Withdraw £20,000 into my bank account from p-pal... would this raise any red flags? if it was allready fully verified...
Also, if I then removed the bank account from the p-pal account, would I be able to use it on another p-pal account?

Ilovemoney - your writing A LOT of posts before reading around the forum first - use the search function first as a lot of these questions your asking are already answered numerous times

And to answer your questions withdrawing £20,000 in one go would definatly raise flags and probably prompt paypal to ask for your ID and Supplier Info.

Why on earth did you let that amount of money build up in a paypal account?

Once a bank account is used with one paypal account you CANNOT use it again with any other.

From my experience with banks, it's not so much how many accounts you have as how you operate with them. Don't let negative balances go unnoticed - keep activity nice and banks will love you.
