Why cant you try something like efax.com?

chknlollypop101 06-09-2011 10:31 PM

How crappy ebay is...Let me tell u that the Fax number for the US 877-349-1798 is NOT in service...

Just pathetic...and its been a month since I faxed to the other two numbers i.e (801) 880-7018 or 001 (801) 795-7253 and there has been no response...

Do you mean fax them to ebay?

missinglink 06-10-2011 03:18 PM

no just upload it or reply to their email with it attached

ShadyOne 06-10-2011 03:21 PM

Can you upload docs to eBay though in the US?! A link if anyone has it.

Yes, emailing them also works. And as mentioned, online faxing services.

Fax it from a store or FedEx

eocwoof 06-10-2011 04:10 PM

i used the (1801) 880-7018 number yesterday and it worked just fine

the 18773491798 number is not in service at the moment

Giardino 06-10-2011 08:02 PM

I'd highly recommend AGAINST using FedEx to fax ANYTHING. They charge like $1.95 PER PAGE at my local store and every store in the proceeding area.

Don't even get me started on duplexing....

techbayelectronics 07-30-2011 09:28 PM

i think we should all just purchase our own faxes for home,it will make things much easier if you have lots of accounts and of course if you can afford it.

Send an email with the title: "Suspension Appeal " - with your account suspended username.

Send them, depending on what Ebay you registered, to:

customerhelp@ebay.com or customerhelp_uk@ebay.com.

Be polite and attach the documents they need/asked you to send.

Then go chat live and explain you already sent the documents. Normally they will review online as they chat with you and your account gets reinstated in a couple of minutes.

Did that everytime i needed to send documents and ALWAYS worked :)

SweetPea 08-02-2011 09:31 AM

Not for me. I was told to fax documents so I went to a store to fax, paid a lot of money, then I called them and told me I was still indefinitely restricted. They told me I was misinformed about faxing documents. I agree with the many posts about E bay wanting your info without reinstating you. I know for a fact it wasn't the documents I faxed. Maybe it works for some, but not all. Be careful of what you send them!

Both numbers seem to work fine for me.

Well if you want high quality fax (meaning ebay wont ask you to refax info again) then best bet is to use FedEx or any Local Store. :)

NYCLiz 08-02-2011 09:58 AM

It always gives me a choice to upload the documents, in the same place that it tells you what they need. I have had better luck just uploading it, still not sure why.

SweetPea 08-02-2011 01:40 PM

We have our own fax, I just didn't want Ebay or PP to get the phone number to that line.

gcrusader92 08-02-2011 03:49 PM

lol eBay doesnt care whether you fax it in or not.

I sent 2 faxes last time and they kept saying you were given a wrong number. They try to give the round around. I even called a third time saying i faxed even though i didnt and they said it was a wrong number...again!

newjerseymax 08-02-2011 08:46 PM

I faxed today.... First time I had to do this.... Will see how it turns out...

clife 08-03-2011 05:04 AM

Like i said, and in my opinion, itīs easier sending them attached by email and speaking after on live chat. It worked always for me.
