Activity: 0% Longevity: 77% | | Similar address and name question..
Keeping it simple.
I want to register an account in the same address and postcode as a previous account that has been permently suspended. (I know bad idea, but just carry on reading)
Example one - Address used in the account that has been suspened.
Naomi Carter
48 Little Rise Close
Great Vale
Spestead
Trenal
SP1 9LJ
Example Two - Similar address that I want to use in the new account.
Naomii Carterr
The Oakleys' 48 Litle Risse Closee
Great Vale
Spestead
Trenall
SP1 9LJ
My instinct tells me that after some activity, I.e. Lisitng and buying, eBay may flag me and suspend me? Correct?
Or has anyone else gotten away with it? I read somewhere that subtle address and name mistakes can be overlooked and gotten away with.
Thankyou

Can you afford to lose the account if it goes down? I tend to think it will not have a long life - but who knows? Don't forget telephone number

Oompa are you sure that just mispelling the name is enough? I want to buy on the account and then once its a month old I plan to sell a few hundred pounds worth of goods. Roughly 300 pounds.
And granny - Yes I can afford to lose it.. I will have a differant number.. (Moible number)

(Moible number) | i have done this without miss spelling the address i also removed my house number, i just put green oaks infront of my address and put a massive plack on the wall for the post man as the mail gets tracked by the postcode, i did this twice at the same address, postie laughed his cream crackers off when i told him why.

Not sure to be honest as i removed my number but yes i would leave it for avs as it should pass
Another thing is i would not bother with the veriation of the second name just first then just put your first inital insted of full name when adding bk account, it will help, you might even pass the id request like this without having to submit
why waist two name veriations on one account anyway lol

Ok - Final example for the account that im setting up now.
Name - N Carrter
Address
The Oakleys
48 Little Rise Close
Great Vale
Spestead
Trenal
SP1 9LJ
The original banned address and name is;

By using the address thats got "the oakleys" in the line and instead of the full first name just the initial i should be ok?

Tweak the name far better than you have.

I registered the account prior to seeing the last to posts.
The name is just the first initial of the first name and the address is the same with a tweak in the first line and also added to the first line is " The Oakleys".
I have kept the house number there.
Lets see.

The postal code is exact match though - won't cause problems?

From what I can gather if there is a postcode and a house number match it will go down, if that address is already gone.
If you use the same postcode and use a house name for your number (nearly all my street is names, no numbers) like tizwoz said it will hold.

Banished you happened to move, addresses arent banished people are.......
