First of all, I'd like to thank so many up here for assisting so many of us, in getting back on eb ay. It's really appreciated by me. Especially ShadyOne...he's helped me a lot with his posts. But anyway, onto my issue:
I've been using a laptop to create my stealth accounts. I've got 3 right now. I log into Windows with different ID's for each, thus I don't need to worry about cookies. I also change my MAC address in my router each time I change stealth accounts, so my IP address changes. I verify this with
IPBurger.
It's really a pain changing the IP address every time I want to change accounts, because I need to reboot the router each time, and wait for a new IP address. It's certainly worth it, but kind of a pain.
It would be nice if I connected my laptop to my Windows Phone (HTC), since that would give me access to eb ay via cellular, and all I'd have to do is hangup, and reconnect, since a cellular connection gives you a new IP address automatically.....problem is, those nice HTC phones, won't act like a modem....so that tosses that idea out the window.
Now, I just got an iPad. And, I see I can get a "cellular package" with G3 connectivity, for it. So, is that indeed what I'm looking for for making my stealth life a little simpler?
So, what's the general rule, if I use the iPad?
1) Fire up Safari (browser)
2) Run Cookie Crumble to delete cookies
3) Log into eb ay stealth account 1, and do my business
4) Log out of eb ay
Now, bear in mind the iPad doesn't allow multiple user accounts...
5) Disconnect my cellular line, and reconnect
6) Verify I got a new IP address
7) Run Cookie Crumble
8) Log into my next stealth eb ay account, and do my business.
go to step 5, and repeat.
What about adobe cookies? I believe they are of no concern on an iPad, correct? Am I missing anything gang?
