Command line script to disconnect bt broadband?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a command line script I can use to disconnect from my bt homehub?

I do not want to just normally disconnect from the net, but I want to reset the ip by disconnecting/resetting bt homehub.

I normally do this through the bt homehub settings page via ie9, entering my password and clicking disconnect and then reconnecting again. This method is quick enough but involves user (me) input via mouse clicking.

If there is a command prompt script I can use instead, this would speed things up for me and many other bt broadband users who want to do this.

Any ideas? I spent all morning on the net looking and now I got a headache! Thanks in advance

I have BT broadband and I just press the reset button on the home hub thingy - I take it your is different?

Mine is the same. If I use the reset button, it resets my password back to the original and I want to keep it as it is.

Also, pressing reset button for me is extra effort as I will have to get up. I know it sounds daft/lazy, but my objective here is to try to have my pc as automated as possible with little user input.

I want this kind of setup as it will save me lots and lots of time when switching from acc to acc which I do tens of times every day.

I have quite a good auto setup at the moment, so when I switch windows users, all the necessary programs etc. load up and are ready to go in seconds - my mac addy changes by it self, my excel loads up at the right time and so does my firefox with my 3 tabs (gmail, pp and eb) all loaded ready to go. I just need a command line script to disconnect my bt connection
