pp verified yet can't pay for eb purchase

hi

does anyone have any knowledge about buying on new eb & pp accounts. This acc is verified and the purchase is quite small £20 - £25. It is a first transaction. An email has been sent, but Im a bit miffed and worried. PS Details on acc'ts are all legit.
Everytime i try to pay, it takes me to pp, then when i press confirm payment - it fails.

'Fails' as in what message do you get?

"we are not able to process payment, please contact support" - standard msg - but there's a link on the page directing to a pp help page that is not active anymore.

Im guessing you have funds in the paypal account?

Do you have the DD set up between the paypal and bank account if not?

no money is not in pp acc, pp is verified by the 2 small deposit method.

so your trying to use your bank account for funding the transaction?

seems to me like it could just be an error, how long have you been trying?
