I seem to be making that kind of money on one account. I have a backup ready but it just seems overkill to me. | For 100 people doing it there are probably 100 reasons why.
I like to keep my sales segregated so my competitors cannot see my overall game plan. By one click to a sellers store you are apt to come up with a whole slew of new ideas. If you click on one of my stores you get one or perhaps 2 ideas.
Plus the way I sell I max out 2-5 amazon accounts a day. There are a few that have passed the review that I can withdraw from every day but most are churn/burn/wait 90 days.
Plus I had a very bad experience with Ebay in 07 when they took down all 7 of my selling accounts (25,000+ combined feedback) on the very same day over a $1 item I had been selling on ebay for 8 years.
You are on a ship and while it's great to have 1 watertight compartment when the iceberg arrives, I'd rather have 50 separate watertight compartments on my ship.
Here's one for motivation, not mine but working on it!
