Default Great forum... can't find specifics on progression

I am a newbie, so if I missed what I am looking for or am asking this in the wrong section, please excuse it this one time.

I have several accounts on eBay. Recently I blocked a harassing potential buyer. Since then I have received several policy violations ranging from duplicate listings, No item (this one escapes me as I was selling a jukebox), feedback manipulation (my fault), and a VERo that resulted in a seven day suspension that was lifted when I went through the tutorial.

That said, I am trying to figure out just how far one can "push" before getting canned. I know this varies on a TON of factors... such as length of time account has been open, DSRs, feedback, items being sold, and the way the wind is blowing that particular dreaded "not-if-but-when" moment whe I get one or all of my accounts (linked) canned.

So, is there any concise outline that says if you go from policy complicance of HIGH with X # of violations, to MEDIUM with Y # of violations, followed by whatever the next lower policy compliance level is (assumed "LOW") then you will get canned with the next violation if it falls into this severity, or if the next violation is a lower severity you can expect one additional "fault" before you get the you are canned notice.

I realize that nothing like this would be anywhere near reliable as the policies change at eBay by the minute, and that the combination and severity of each violation factors into the equation (and sometime not, they just can you for a single thing because the wind changed direction).

Bottom line, I have four policy violations, MEDIUM compliance, and was wondering if I should wait four months until these have all lift before going forward with my main account.

Any guidance would be appreciated, and I promise not to rely heavily on any guidance since this is such a moving target.

Also, (and not liekly)... does eBay publish anything to help a seller (help a seller, yeah! Right! --- NOT!!!) as it relates to the number of violations it takes at certain levels of severity to get the boot??????????

to this site and all of it's contributors.... I am prepared.... never lost an account, by now have the attitude who cares, just be prepared to and move one.... life to short to deal with the mafia.

With this account, you sell low stuff to continue activity and build feedback.

You make other fresh accounts to spread sales.

Maybe post a bit shorter messages to get more replies to your questions.

If your main account has had all those warnings/violations, it is best to let sit and age for awhile so it can cool off. It would be fine to list small, low-risk items during this time to build feedback like rsot said.

Start researching these forums, reading the stealth guide, and you'll be back up and running in no time.
