Yeah it seems that way now, used to be the only mc999 I'd see would have to do with linking now they seem to be using it for just about everything seems like even taking the place of mc010 in some cases, it's like a new trend.

MC999 HAS NOTHING to do with linking to anther account, But it links you to seller behavior that EB doesn't like it. examples:
1- you are listing the first item using buy it now+immediate payment required = MC999
2- buy it now+immediate payment required + International shipping FREE = MC999
3- Insisting to make your first item as you do it all the time = MC999

many more depends on the case, that's why if you will look around ppl from here saying that everything was OK selling what ever items they start with but when they start to sell the same item that they used to sell they get MC999. ( I am referring to the guy who is selling golf items)

How to avoid MC999

EASY... start to sell WHEN EVER YOU WANT..but start with auction not buy it now., then after 2 or 3 days start to sell the item that you want to sell as buy it now... ( NO immediate payment required or international shipping)

YOU have to make your listing looks like a new style ( fonts, words, colors...etc )

YOU have to search FIRST on Ebay for the item you want to sell ( As a normal new user will do) then you start to sell.

Bottom line, you have to give the impression that you are NEW USER and you know nothing about EB.

ADVICE...if you want to sell let say Apple Ipod, go to EB search for it check the completed listing if you will find more than 10 0FB sellers selling this item, then it is ok to start with

They are watching the new accts closer now. You have to sell really safe things to build feedback beyond 25 or so. Even then they will pull items so go slow.

MC999 is used for many violations now in the USA. Elsewhere it's seems like MC019 still.

Obviously the category matters in what I'm saying so variations exist.

Again ...NO..you do not have to wait to build your FB, you can open an account at 10 AM and start to sell at 10:00AM, please read my previous reply

Oh I see sell Ipods and software with 0 FB, one hour after you form the acct, with auctions then after two or three days use BIN's. Great advice, I'll try that thanks!

I did not say to sell software, I did not check the software till now. But you can check it..go to EB ...check completed listing and see if any 0FB sold it.

By the way..when you create new account, do not go straight to completed listing, browse around first ( YOU ARE A NEW USER ) ...then check.

Anther advice...if you want to sell let say Software, Go to go ogle.com, type (Example) win XP on EB...then go ogle will direct you there, thats a new behavior..I mean you need to be careful how you are approaching the item that you want to list

There is no doubt that you can sell maybe one or two of vero and get away with it but if you want to sell beyond a week or two on that acct the way you are suggesting just doesn't happen.

If you are talking about selling socks or hair brushes I believe you are 100% right. But from my experience in the USA that never goes down the way you said.

Hercules..you can sell VERO items as much as you want IF you sold the first 2 or 3 and start to get +FB then you can go on, there is no straight line with EB.

You may be right where YOU live and I see allot of Chinese sellers doing what you suggest getting away with it so.....

I have tried that in the past and it didn't work, maybe it's changed now.

When you create EB, use existing Name, Real Name, a Person Name

I think I got it. You mean use a real name what makes sense and not just some letters after each other.

the paypal for recieving money is different from one link to ebay..is is ok?
what's happen if i use a mail none of paypal for recieving money and then add to my real paypal after del it ?

Not everything posted here is necessarily true. Your country flag is EG, but I assume you are referencing USA eB ay. Even so, members need to just take this advice lightly as it is only SUGGESTION. Don't try to scare the sh!t out of people here.

You can't? I've got some up right now with less than 10 feedback. I usually list BIN for first listing without requiring immediate payment, buy a few from myself then put up whatever I want and require immediate payment after that. One thing I know is you need a premier account for immediate payment.

can be for several reasons.. i've personally never got one for LINKING, but gotten them for listing too early..

Everyones experience is different, I've never gotten them from listing too early and I list right away sometimes but the ones I did get said I was linked to another user.

Just goes to show how much ebay SUCKS.. to an extent lol.. cause if they were "Dead" you guys wouldn't be able to know ME, you guys should be thankful!:amen:

What's going on I think is EB is using the same MC999 for lots of things. I believe I was getting linked on Accts and I got the same MC for other mistakes on my part.
I see why they do that so you don't know what to fix.

Then things changed I guess? Weird. I have been stopped multiple times for it before, but I will try again on a new account with no feedback.

Yeah I remember about a year ago you needed 5 feedback to list BIN but now it's 0 so yeah things definetly changed.

I think I am giving them hope and solutions, Not talk talk talk...and that's it ,and if I am doing the accounts from EGY IP and I am working fine then its a PLUS not a minus!! do not u think. and for all who disagree with me that is OK too, But I just need a quick reminder what we call ppl who questions new ideas and solutions without even try it??

And for the others I come here to find help and to help others when ever I can, at least I do not give ppl complete information and I do not hide some of it.

But you know what I will make 1 new account you name what ever Item you want me to list and i will do it and i will write here the item number, so everyone can watch it...

And I think if the item will be ok, that will minimize loads of false information around here

Also remember that eb ay can do mc's based on activity linking. If you have a lot of ppl going down for sellnig the same shiz you are in the span of a few hours, you can expect yours to go down too.

MC999 is used for many things as others have said. I made a new account 2 days ago, finally yesterday i listed a vero item on it around late morning, started 99 cents. No buy it nows, etc..


it shows up on the users ebay my world page, but it isn't in the searches yet... i listed it 3 days

It can be a problem, i'll sell 1 item, then list a second and then add a bank account perhaps.I am just testing right now to see what works for me and my items... 10% goes to charity, these particular auctions get an extra designation and you donate to a good cause... and get reduced final value fees...Is it the best option? No, but it is sometimes when it's hard to make accounts stick.After all, what 3rd world country scammer is going to list an auction where money goes to chairty? :) And yes i do it through ebay so there is no scamming
