Default address thing stumping me in stealth guide.

Ok setting up first accounts and stuck at the address thing. I just spent 4 hours going through threads here and its still not clear.

stealth recommends having a friend address, but how does that work for a dozen accounts or more. I dont know more than 12 people who arent on ebay. I presume 12 accounts need 12 addresses or they get linked ?

obviously i am missing something obvious here ?

Why do you want to open 12 accounts Roger Harris?

Start with one

i could list my 6 different shop types and a backup for each, plus buyer acct ec. but now i am confused.

the general idea of all this IS to have multiple accounts ? If one shop has a problem i still have another 5. Spreading interests ? plus each shop has a totally different product range and trading aspect. one i will be operating for a direct contact from hong kong, another for dropshipping stuff from local traders, S/H recons another etc etc.

I opened a PP account one time using a friend's address, it still got limited a year down the road because I was making money with it. Doesn't matter who's address you use, just make sure (I assume) that the address has never been before used at PP. Like if you know the old man Mr. Smith down at the end of your street doesn't own a computer, then you simply use his address.

OK i get it now. the address does not really matter. Paypal or ebay never actually send anything to these addresses (i think ?) It is of course better to have a real address for each account but few people are going to have a dozen non ebay using friends up to agreeing with your personal plans.

All returns are sent to MBE or who-ever and the label procedures for returns are all carried out to prevent anything returned elsewhere.

From my experience you can get by with a real but made up address if that makes sense. Of course an address which you have access to is prefereable but when you're talking about more than 3 accounts is impracticle and expensive (if you go the rental route). However if you are going to be turning over a lot of money then you might aswell rent an accessible address from many services offered online.

I have found that the only snail mail post I have received from eBay have been sellers reports for my top rated accounts that have been turning over a LOT of money, but if you spread your sales around you should not receive one of these so a f**e address should not be to much of a problem
